Joy's 43rd (Our house): Magnum. Quintessential warm-vintage Nebbiolo, with darker (almost balsamic) fruit, a musky, gauzy quality, some cherry menthol and a sense of generosity rather than acidity. Really easy for everyone to enjoy, and great with ribeye steak. Suspect at peak, as I can see this type of wine becoming brownish and flat if left for too long.

Belle couleur, nez exressif, typé nebbiolo, menthe, èpicé, bouche douce, équilibrée, tannins présents mais. très souples, bel équilibre, manque sans doute un peu de corps, 2022-2025

Core of fresh red fruit lifted by roses, menthol and pine. Fine but biting tannins finishing with rounded tobacco.
