Jean/Michel Gros Vosne-Romanee 1er Clos des Reas Dinner (RPM Steak - Chicago IL): A very fun, pleasurable and interesting wine, but highly unlikely this is 100% Pinot Noir. Deep and powerful with lots of old wine pleasure. Grenache? Algeria?

Sadly a 1949 Remoissenet Vosne-Romanee ‘Clos des Reas’ 1er Cru had just a bit of cork taint. The bottle was in great nick otherwise with a full and sweet palate, good shape and excellent length.
