Medium yellow which lightened with air. Exhilarating combination of fragrant orange zest and iodine on the nose. Medium weight, excellent feel with a gently woody base. Walks a fine line between richness and real structure. Top notch Premier Cru.

Full yellow. Good aromatic mixture of ripe orange and more dank Chablisien scents. Full, glycerine, succulent fruit on an excellent layer of soil. Adequate acidity to carry it in this rich year. Well consituted wine that is not terribly far behind a 2009 Raveneau Montée de Tonnerre we had the other night.
The next day, the fruit was still strong but definitely evolved toward more ripe vintage pear than citrus.

Healthy lighter gold color. The nose was a bit tight tonight with limited citrus and floral aromas but, the palat while still energetic is resolved, balanced, concetrated and elegant. The yourful bringhtness on release has mellowed. Stony minerality with saline infused lemon, orange zest and hint of tropical. Ready to drink but should hold a good long while. 12.5% Alc.

Not the most complex, but this has wonderful texture and balance with a subtle backdrop of minerality (limestone, seashells) and a really long finish. Great stuff, drinking well already.
