Medium gold with a green hue, clear, quite little edge variation - the color did not yield much of a clue as to the true age of the wine. Initially a bit reserved on the nose, opening with some time and a little warming. Lemon oil, roasted pineapple, brioche, roasted nuts, nice acid and mineral core. Certainly time to drink up, but a nice example of aged Cali Chard.

Consumed by my wife and she says it was slightly less mineral than the 2001 Kistler Kistler Vineyard they had alongside with it.

Most Kistler's of this age have failed, but this one with 12 hours of air comes around.
