Solid, but no wow-factor. This was James Halliday's wine of the year the year it was released (2012 or -13), so I expected more. But very Bordeaux-like, a bit of fruit, decent after taste and acidity. Lacked complexity and personality.

First time I’ve cracked open one of these. Was assuming at 9 years it would be worth a first look. After a double decant and a few hours wait it was sadly very subdued and tight. Must need more time.
