An improvement from last December. Coloring seems almost pale green-yellow with ice like clarity. The nose it tight and hard to find, but citrus and lime come to mind. It has surprising body for a wine this light in color. I get hints of mineral, with lime skins and granny smith apple. Looking forward to trying the 06's.
Last wine I drank in 2007. Pale yellow color, to the point of being clear. Floral, citrus nose but it lacks real character. Mineral through the palate with grapefruit and lime. Tight when I first poured it, but still seemed thin as it sat in the glass. Not as good as the 2004. Went well with the shrimp cocktail and various dips being served. Definitely a summer wine. I've always enjoy the Honig SB, and have some 2006 in stock. Maybe 05 was a little off.
