I don’t know how to rate this, doesn’t seem much like the wine I had five years ago but then again five years has passed. But it seems quite reduced, funky and dirty, a little angular in the structure. Some kind of flaw?

Medium dark garnet, there's a little earthy fruit and a bit of brett on the nose, then tasty medium depth, brighter gamay fruit, darker raspberry with higher toned strawberry notes. The brett is there on the palate, though not overly obtrusive. Fine tannins and some nice acidity round out the balance. A nice, if not overly complex wine, though would be even better without the noticeable brett.

Bright red color. Raspberry, anise, earth. Sweet lilac pastille. Nice acid and still well structured but drinking very well now. In a good spot.

At peak, dark color some bricking. Red fruit is ample with some secondary development. Best served chilled. Perfect with a wagyu burger today.
