Has lost som freshness and taken on som tertiary aromas like black olives, hey and fennel the last year. Has become softer. Still a fullbodied Beaujolais with decent fruit.

Bastille Day Tastings-Mostly French (San Francisco): Fairly deep. Ripe nose. Big for a 2010, rich black cherry (indeed a liqueur aspect), gentle sweetness, but some back end tartness as well. Tasty, albeit more in a 2009 style and size.

Quite full bodied, tannic, dark red fruit. Find this a bit tough and unwieldy in richness. Needs richer food than I served it with (terrine).

Nicely secondary bojo. Got some mature gamay nose with a mix of mature red and black fruits on the palate. A little tannin and spice to finish.

Some spiciness. Cherry, cool ripe fruit and some mineral. Fullbodied for beeing a Beaujolais. Good structure.
