Pnp. Rich nose of spice, wood, blueberry, plum. Big wine for me but probably medium for a WA Syrahs. Mouth: savory, good fruit, smoke and a little chocolate. Love the mid-palate. Has a brightness and is very good despite the higher abv and extract. Probably at its peak but will keep for a few years more.

Drinking great. Round stewy red berry fruits. Firm acidity. Drying tannins. Some spice and lift. Nice.

Tasted after 30 minutes of air. Muted fruit. Some firm tannins. Good acidity. Some mid palate lift. Short finish. Expected more from this. Drink up.

Past notes hold. This is the kind of wine you can drink with rosemary fries, a serious steak, or anything in between.
