Orchard fruit bursts from the glass. The palate has real weight and concentration. Notes of peach, apricot, flowers, honey, minerals and spice. A lovely wine.

My favorite Kistler terroir, never disappoints. Very nice mineral streak among the large scaled peach and tropical fruit, with enough acidity to keep it in balance. Drink or hold.

This full and round Chardonnay is drinking fine right now, though I would open it sooner rather than later. Yellow in color and full in body, the wine offers aromas of cantaloupe, pear, and almond. Flavors of orange curd, golden delicious apple, and gooseberry, with a creamy finish. 14.1% alcohol. This seemed a tad heavy next to a 2016 Kistler Vine Hill, which came across as more fresh and intriguing.

This bottle felt just a tad closed up next to 4 other Kistler Chards at the vineyard. Similar in profile to the Durell with a little more bready/savory notes for me.

really like this vineyard, more minerally, less oak influence on this bottling. clean and precise.
