Delicious, even in mid winter, because it's the perfect accompaniment for Provencal Chicken. Drunk alongside PYCM's Rose de Pinot Noir, Gilbert's rendition is brighter, more assertive, and a bit more edgy. Possibly better than during the summer, as its fuller body stands up well to hearty, winter fare.
Rated 1 on a scale of -1 to 3.

This is a gorgeous Rose from Menetou-Salon, called the little sister of Sancere and for good reason this is gaining popularity. Beautiful pink color in the glass with a slight berry nose. The acidity is perfect with notes of stone and that wonderful minerality. The long finish will make you wonder why you didn't try this sooner. 100% Pinot Noir from Rosenthal - another winner.
