Fifth of 6, and the unctuous vanilla and oak have largely integrated. Some interesting notes here, although a bit more green than I’d choose. With about an hour of air, I think that this is in its drinking window, reasonably well-balanced, good fruit, some backbone, drinking about equally on its own as it did with chicken burritos and spaghetti and meatballs (different nights). Nothing wrong here, especially at my price point, but nothing really inspiring either, particularly at full boat retail, especially when compared to the recent cheaper Buriano cab and the not much more expensive Tua Rita LB style blend. Might buy again at my price, but probably would try something different for a weeknight/non-wine friends’ wine. 90-91 if scoring.

Low acidity, full body, medium tannins. Dark purple color, cedar on the nose, dark berry on the palate and a long finish. This is a very nicely balanced Cab.

No sediment in the bottle, this is mediocre at best. Commercial and correct, but nothing more. This wine should be consumed at release. Black currant, black olive and oak. 89

Still not that good. Grapey, not structured.

Like the 2017 we had in 2021, darn near perfect. Very smooth, wide palate and excellent depth. Linwood Wines had it.
