Synthetic cork.The mineral aspect was there, as was just a bit of stone fruit. However, it was unbalanced with too much acidity. A little less acidity and it would have been quite a clean, refreshing, although typical, Chablis.

Musty, sweaty nose. Tastes of wet stones, grapefruit, lime and pears with some nicely integrated French oak. Well balanced with a decent acid backbone.

Nice typicity here, with balanced, subtle notes of lemon and chalk, with the usual terrific mineral character. Crisp and refreshing, but maybe without the refinement and precision of better examples. Very good for the price.

"Burgundies that can bring an Italian Wine Maker to the Dark Side" Luncheon (Bonta): Light gold with green tinge. Warm mouthfeel that proves sweeter than the Puligny. This is not as mineral and citrus dominated too. However, this is very approachable and comfortable. This is neither simple nor complicated.
