SAG (Blind) Tasting (Chez Weber - Chicago IL): Blind tasting. Good fruit on nose, good pepper as well. Palate shows austere red fruit and good spice. Fruit seems a bit hidden behind lots of acidity, not quite in balance yet.

Wine is well past its prime but still drinkable. Needs several hours to open up with a moderate amount of sediment.

No rating as this bottle was beyond it's prime. Fruit was pretty much gone. Still drinkable but not really anything to speak of left.

Needs decanting. Opens nicely and is a lovely aged wine to enjoy from now. Little earth, mineral good balance of fruit. In general very balanced. 92
