2013 Barolo tasting at 67PM: BTG. Sweet, jammy raspberry and redcurrant fruit, these wines consistently remind me of kirsch and I really don't get them unfortunately.
A powerhouse with old vine concentration and a long, long finish. This has so much black fruit, so much rich, meaty and sweet spice, and so much structure. Everything is nearly in balance, but this is still brooding/backward for now, so better to hold to 2025 or so, then drink for a long time from there.
