Wines Tasted at the La Paulée Verticals Session (The Maybourne, Beverly Hills): Beautiful ruby color. Lush glycerine feel. Mixture of black and blue fruit, smokiness, excellent acidity and soil, and buried tannins. Wow, the depth of fruit, verve, and sap make this one sexy wine. Will it shut down or just continue to seduce?

La Paulée de Los Angeles - The Verticals (Maybourne Hotel - Beverly Hills CA): Walkaround vertical tasting. Lush black fruits with meaty notes, lots of fun already. Very good length. This has softened nicely since I tasted at the domaine in 2021.

Tuesday Burgundy Cellar Visits - Mugneret-Gibourg, Dujac, Château de la Tour, and Fourrier (Cote d'Or): Tasted at the domaine. Meaty and black fruit on nose with spice and charm. More backward and tannic on palate, even wit the same profile. Rugged finish for now. Better 2028 forward.
