Brick red; soft nose of herbs and tobacco; more fruit on the palate, and a bit hot; tannins there but gone quickly, along with the finish. I had expected more... disappointed here. Not bad, but below expectations.
Drinks very good now and maybe even better in 2 - 3 years, better example of the $10 Chilenean cabs. Green pepper on the mid palate, and some tannins that still could soften a bit. Good long finish. Not a great wine, but good value at this price point.
Black / purple color. Plum, green pepper and herbs on the nose and palate - nice acidity & good with food (pizza). For under $10.00, good QPR and would buy again - much better than a CA wine at the same price but not as good as some of the Spanish wines at this price point as another taster noted. 86-88.
