  My wotn
  took about 45 min to become expressive followed by an elegant structured dark fruit with peppery carmeniere dancing in and out

  Got this at a remarkable discount from my local wine shop. We had this with Italian food. It was oaky heavy with some new world over extraction. Dark fruits were present; day two showed some more impressive old world notes on the nose. Heavy wine, not my style but can appreciate how one may.

  The nose needed an hour to open up. There are complex and beauty aroma of vanilla chocolate, cassis, sweet licorice and clove with undertone of dried herbs and lavender. Rich and smooth palate. Good depth and length. Almost full-bodied polished structure transiting nicely into a long and lingering finish. Ready to drink now if you decant. Otherwise, keep this for another 3 years for the elements to develop greater complexity and depth. 94-95 pts
