Earthy, red fruit, smoky nose. Dark strawberry, silky, terrific finish. Drinking very nicely.

This Pinot is rockin right now! Huge nose, tons of red fruit, and a long and complex finish. There's enough acidity present to allow it to stand up to many different foods.

OMG.... rich and flavorful. Enough acid and tannin to be interesting. A good deal of fruit, but not just fruit - complexity as well. Previous 08s had been very good. But the bottle age on this wine proved to bring it to a new level. One of the best PN and/or Burgundies I have ever drunk. Certainly one of a small handful of CA PN that I will long remember.

Reddish brown color. Nose is burnt rubber, saddle leather, and tar. Tannic in the mouth, with strong mineral notes, tar, and leather. Not my favorite wine.
