My first bottle of the 2023 disgorgement, from May. This is the 100% Chard wine without dosage. 50% reserve wine, not sure of the base year. I opened this yesterday and at that time my perceptions were of a disgorgement that was more acidic but less complex than the best disgorgements. Very distinctly anchored by a pink grapefruit, with lemon pith, mango and tangy peach. Revisiting today, plenty of powdered rock aroma today, plus a citrus rind. Love the smell of the wine, for sure. The pink grapefruit note hangs in the core of the wine, and I do think in total that this is a more gentler version of this cuvee, highlighting more stone fruit and mango, a moderately complex version that works.

A great refreshing Brut nature with a lot of fruit sweetness. Crystal clear in the finish. Love it. 92-93

07/2022 disgorgement. Poured 2 hours after opening into Grassl Libertes. Lean and precise, lemon and mineral-driven. Great aperitif.

Consistent, good QPR champagne. Doughy, chalky, lemon zest, fresh and straight forward. Much better than big house champagnes at the same price range.
