  Overall: This was not terribly well balanced. There is just a hint of secondary flavors. I am not sure that this will ever be a tasty wine. It wasn't unpleasant, but it wasn't a pleasant drinking experience either. Tomorrow we will see how the rest of the bottle is. For today, C-

  Mittlers Rubin mit kräftiger Schlierenbildung
  
  Sauberer Geruch nach eher dunklen Beeren, etwas vegetale Noten und Kräuteraromen
  
  Bringt im Geschmack einen vollen Körper mit gut eingebundenen aber Kräftigen Tanninen, die den Wein Gut stützen, aber auch eine deutliche Säure mit. Ausgeprägte Aromen nach Sauerkirsche, rote Beeren und einer leichten Pfeffernote. Darunter auch etwas Schote. der Alkohol ist gut integriert und der Abgang lang.
  
  Hat noch sehr viel Kraft und kann noch ein paar Jahre vertragen. Fällt jedoch zusammen wenn er zu lange offen ist.

  Big for burgundy. Drinkable now but the tannins could use some smoothing. Overall an excellent wine.

  Dark beautiful ruby colour.
  Nose of lovely and great fruit, ripe cherries, a nip of alcohol at opening which disappeared.
  Full and juicy taste with a nice dryness at tongue, palate and my lips back side, fruit as well, a balanced and very enjoyable wine. Lacked a bit of mid tongue taste.
