From 75cl, perfect cork. Villages Meursault doesn't get much better than this. Ripe oaky Chardonnay scent with more than a touch of sexy rancio. Medium-bodied, attractively oily entry. Fine minerality on mid-palate, persists on to the ripe, almost tannic, structured finish. Fully mature now. 90P

Classic buttery scent; clean, lemony, linear palate with healthy, natural-tasting sweetness; short-medium finish. A bit overpowered by lotte à l'américaine, pity. 88P

Burgundy in Burgundy - the good, the bad and the truly revolting; 9/13/2010-9/20/2010: From a new parcel of 10 year old vines just above Les Perrières, allocated to young growers by the Commune. Just a hint of the celebrated buttery aroma fighting it out right now with SO2. Lovely smooth core of creamy fruit, lifted with a nice mineral edge. 3-7 years. 89P(++)

La Paulee de NY - Grand Tasting (2008 Vintage) (Metropolitan Pavilion, NYC): similar to the Fichet. a little more smoke on the finish.
