The cork was really soft it made me pause because it seems whenever a cork is this soft the wine ends up being tainted. No such problem tonight, bullet dodged. It's been three years since the last time I tasted this and it has really developed. The initial pour had cat pee on the nose but that blew off pretty quickly and then gave the impression of a stainless Chardonnay with some lemon and loads of limestone minerality. The mid-palate was round and a bit heavy but then the acidity kicked in along with some citrus zest and it blossomed. The sharp, slightly bitter finish was accented by a hint of tannins. This wine has a ton going on for the low $17.50 price tag. Wish I could get my hands on a case of it. Big thumbs up!

I kept cool and it drank very nicely, keeping the more brooding tones at bay and helped to balance an otherwise reticent acidity. I thought it a fantastic QPR wine....

Pop and pour. Rich, full-bodied, flavorful. Very good with steamed fresh clams and with turkey dinner.

Richer style of white with pear, good aromatics and heavier mouthfeel
