Less broad and rich than the other Madeiras in this series though not with less character. Shows a marked stone fruit and pie filling quality on the nose with rancio, wood, nuts. Much lighter at the entry than most Madeiras yet the palate seems to go on a for a bit in a lighter bodied way. Again, a touch fruitier than many here. Good length. Ripe apple and citrus at the finish. White raisins and nuts. This is quite nice. Sort of a fresher yet mellower Madeira. Might be a better entry into these wines than some of the others for newbs. For whatever reason this on seems to turn up less at retail out here. Almost goes without saying this held up for several weeks in the fridge just great.

A nice, elegant, lighter-style of Madeira. Some buttered nuts and caramel notes with good acidity. The blend seems very young and without much length, but this was very pleasant.

Delicate aroma of burnt oranges, baked apple and solvent. The pallet is luscious with bright citrus, toasted walnuts, and spice. The intensity and acidity make the pallet length go on forever. The delicate balance keeps you returning to the glass...

Lightly oxidized nose of hay and sea-spray. Palate is light and fresh, with golden raisins, butterscotch and an acidic, energetic, long, saline finish. KILLER with a good, salty blue cheese and honey.
