- Greenish color and aromas of tar and phenolic. It's lacking fruit and has flavours of lemon and hay/straw with a light/medium body. Linear texture with a medium finish.

Pale straw in color, this wine revealed stone fruits, lemon, Anjou pear and grape fruit on the nose. The mouth feel was dry with floral notes, lime zest and minerals. The finish was medium in length with moderate, dry acidity and more citrus.
Purchased for $13US/1.0L, this is a well made, good example of entry level GV offered at the right price point. It became progressively better when enjoyed with goat cheese tonight.
Imported by Michael Skurnik Wines, Syosset, NY.

Some value wines from Austria; 8/9/2014-8/10/2014 (WRW): This is the one that comes in a 1L bottle. In Ohio its 17, but in the free world, I suspect less. In any event, as always, this is a solid GV. Some hints of lime and minerals on the nose. A bit of green pepper. The nose carries thru to the palate. Refreshing and easy to drink. Dry. Nice wine for a party.
