Very elegant and almost fully mature. To me, this is one of the stars of St Joseph. 2014 might not be the best year, but this wine certainly delivers a typical nose of raw meat, smoke and rose petals. On the pallets, it is medium bodied. Nice and clean finish.

Tasted over two days, and the wine showed best on day two. Real depth here. Iron and aged meat. The fruit is of high quality, which adds a sense of elegance. Grippy tannins, but again high quality also here. Probably needs five years with potential for positive development for at least another five after that. 92ish for now.
