Red cherry, spices, underwood, and overall quite fruit driven nose. Good acidity with tart cherry notes, strawberry, and mushrooms on the palate. Nice finish. A lovely wine, probably drinking at or close to peak right now.

Popped and poured. Followed over 5 hours. Has been on death row for weeks.
Shockingly youthful on the appearance and nose. No bricking. Aromas of damp earth and light red delicate (for the vintage) fruits frame the typicity of an Oregon Pinot vineyard at 7am in the sunny fall mornings dew. Good structure carries all the way through the finish. Decent tannins and acidity together with this fruit suggest a long life ahead. Bravo John. I'm holding my remaining bottles in hopes of more secondary development (thought at 17 years, perhaps wishful thinking?)
1/5 bottle corked and left on counter overnight. Today it is only slightly oxidized and is much more austere having lost about 75% of its fruit. I would therefore recommend a extended aeration prior to service. Much better with air. Cheers

Legends of the Spring 2018 (Portland, Oregon house of TW and AW): Strong Oregon vintage for Pinot and this medium red blockbuster of Damson plum blasted with cherry petals on the palate, just entering its window of peak drinkability. Expansive suave back end with a whiff of Hermes saddle leather splashed with sweet lingonberries. Bold big boy pants vintage for the long haul. (now-2041)

Duck Four Ways at The Spread in Norwalk (The Spread in South Norwalk): This wine, to me, clearly saw better days. Nose of mushroom, earth, touch of dried cherry and funk. Simple flavors of dried cherry and earth. Ends with a rather short finish. Not sure how this was stored but to me this wine but this probably should have been drunk a few years ago in my opinion.

From 1.5L bottle: elegant, supple, classic JT; still incredibly youthful with floral nose, bright red fruits, fine structure, wonderful length.
