Dark red in color. 14.5% ABV. Perfumed nose of red fruits, baking spices and citrus. Medium body with mouth watering acidity. Bright, juicy fruits in spades. Perfectly balanced. Cherry, raspberry, blood orange and a hint of pepper on the palate. Tremendous length on the finish. The best Pato Vineyard wine from Bedrock that I can remember. I wish I had more. Drink over the next 3-5 years.

Brief decant. Opens up with typical Bedrock floral-earthy aromas. Abundant dark fruit and a supple texture with soft tannins. More forward and approachable than many of single vineyard heritage wines.

Quick decant. Rustic red fruit aromas underlaid with plenty of fresh cut pine wood. Bright red raspberry and darker blue fruit compete for attention on the palate before the acidity, herbal notes, lavender, and twigs take over. Oak shows itself prominently on the finish with medium tannins, red fruits, and a peppery uplift as those tannins linger long. One more year might let things come together further though perhaps a longer decant will help if opening now. 91+ points.

Luscious dark fruit, medium tannins and a reasonably long finish. This was a bargain for the price, and very open for drinking now.
