8/9/2018 2:57:00 PM - Hi, sorry for the delayed response. Appreciate the restaurant tips. My sister in law has been eager to try The Merchantile and I've seen some write-ups on Tavernetta. Hope to try both sometime. I would have missed Fruition but it looked pretty good.

8/6/2018 5:55:00 PM - Assuming downtown ish area, I can tell where we like: The Mercantile. Book early. My favorite. Fruition, small, always excellent. In a neighborhood east of downtown. Coohills, easier to get into, but get the chef’s tasting menu with wine paring. Populist. First come, first serve. Hipster RINO area. Funky good. The food and wine scene in Denver has exploded so check the online reviews for stuff we are not aware of. Wanting to try, but have not yet is Tavernatta, Bobby Stuckey of Fresca fame’s new place by Union Station.

5/2/2016 9:42:00 AM - Hi - Thanks for the message re upcoming wine event. When is it taking place? I've not received any info on the tasting. May is crazy busy, but if the event is in June, I might be able to attend. Have not had much wine this year. Been trying to cut back on the mailing list purchases too - except for Carlisle. I am spending more time/resources on fixing up my house. Anyway, hope all is well with you. Keep in touch. John PS. my email is john@johndunlap.org.
