Notes of raspberry, wild strawberry, and brioche lead the way, with barnyard hints emerging and lingering on the finish. Creamy and rich with lively acidity cutting through it all. Interesting and tasty.

90% Pinot, 10% Chard, 3 years on the lees. Smells a little bit earthy and a touch funky, but here it is. Richer on the palate, more weight, but I think I prefer the Blanc de BLancs, but again, both should be filed under nothing not to like.

Recently reviewed the 2019, the 2020 is richer, more complex, more seductive. The charm - and challenge - of many wines is the taste which cannot be identified; hazelnut, Meyer lemon, dusty biscuit, like challenge of an appealing stranger's stare from across the room.
