  • Annual Gentlemen's Dinner (Home): Had probably the highest expectations for this wine considering the price and the exuberant tasting notes here on cellartracker. Was quite disappointed. High class, introvert, of course too young. I just cannot understand why you can rate this wine a 100 points, even better than a Solaia, Masseto or Sassicaia. But – well – people and tastes are different, which is goof. Would like to try a 15 year old version of this. However, I will probably not spending the money again for this.

  • Totally beguiling. Classy, like top St Emilion with a twist. Tannins are hardly noticeable, but there is so much substance underneath. No noticeable alcohol, nothing out of place. Focus is clearly on balance and not on power, and that is the right choice. One of those wines that taste good from the get go and only get better with time in the glass, showing the substance underneath. Very easy to love this. I cannot imagine this closing down and would love to see this age over the next 10-15 years. Worth every penny…

  • Lovely Bordeaux style. Blackberry, black cherry, oak, hints of chocolate and vanilla. Long finish with nice tannins. Very young. Highly enjoyable.

  • Inviting nose with ripe Cabernet fruit, dark berries, cassis, violets and cedar. Medium bodied with good backbone, med to high acidity offering freshness, layered with depth of flavours, very pure fruit and long finish. Great wine. 95-96
