I blinded this on some family members. There was some reduction on the pop 'n pour, which had some thinking old world, but this blew off quickly and everyone was pretty captivated by this bottle. Excellent depth and balance with a beautiful melange of complex flavors without straying from varietal characteristics. Fantastic Syrah.

2nd of 4 bottles from recent auction. This bottle was even better than the first. Great Syrah aromatics and flavors. Really well integrated and harmonious with good balance and silky mouthfeel. California fruit, yes, but not over the top or spoofy. Maybe the very best domestic Syrah I've ever had.

14.8% abv. 1st of 4 bottles from recent auction purchase. So much to like about this. On the bigger, new world side of syrah, but really well-done. Plenty of fruit, but well-balanced with good acidity. Lovely, complex flavor profile with meaty, briny, and olive notes. Just on the precipice of developing tertiary character at this stage. Really enjoyed this and went very well with carnitas burritos!

Decanted for several hours. Color very dark purple, like ink. Nose was incredible that just kept getting better over time. Aromas of blackberry, smoke, olives. Palate is full bodied with a rich, smooth texture. Great integration of components. Smoke, black fruits, and a great nutty (hazelnut) finish. This was one of the best if not the best Syrah I have ever had. It was perfect in every way and a pleasure to enjoy. 5,14,18,7=94

Sad that this was my last bottle. Great pairing with Easter leg of lamb. Everyone loved this.
