Pretty plummy purple. Medium plus body, high acid. Dominated by a really lovely mix of raspberry, blackberry and spice - nutmeg, clove, pepper. Easy in the palate with still some structure and acid to finish.

Tasty $25 Sonoma 2021 Dry Creek Vineyard Zinfandel Heritage Vines. Mid-dark garnet, viscous (14.5 alc.); ripe grape, berries, bramble nose; mid acids; mid+ tannins, softening; good fruit; long semi-tight, hot finish. Pizza, pasta, BBQ wine. 16.5/91.

Did not do as well as I had hoped in a blind tasting finishing 6th among 8 similarly-priced zins given that it had a high Wine Spectator rating.
