Certainly past peak; color is deep golden, bubbles fade quite quickly. This wine has that slightly oxidized/maderized note you find in older bubbles. Helped significantly by food.

This bottle (the blanc de blancs, which does not seem to have a separate entry or picture on Cellartracker) had been in the cellar for 12 years, awaiting the right moment, and the birth of our first child seemed appropriate. Beautiful greeney gold colour in the glass. Fine bubbles and not too fizzy. Nose of apricots, toasted nuts, lime and apples, with a palate that emphasised the appleyness. A light touch of yeast, but not overly brut. The finish was long and wonderful.
