  Somewhat clear cherry red with a garnet tinge. Strawberry jam, pepper, and bramble nose. Light to medium bodied, raspberries, cherries, some spice, soft tannins, a bit of smoke and heat, and a medium finish. Not profound, of course, but a very good value under $10. Somebody needs to explain that picture on the label to me.

  D.O. Calatayud; 1/13/2017-1/15/2017 (Área de Calatayud): Con un ligero toque de barrica, sigue siendo un vino bastante joven. Demasiado ácido, no obstante, para nuestro gusto, pero agradable.
