Tons of notable age on this one. Color is a dark gold. It has lost some bubbles. Nose has a lot of carmel - one drinker in the group said butterscotch. Thick mouthfeel with flavors of roasted nut, honey and a touch of dried apple. I am not convinced this bottle could go much longer. Half the group liked it and half thought it was too old for their sparkling wine preference.

Very interesting. The oldest sparkling wine we've had to date. More of an amber color in the glass, powerful somewhat funky nose. Nutty, caramel, a little funk but still some citrus lurking underneath. Not many bubbles after it hits your glass but still a lot of mouth watering acidity too it. Not sure I loved every aspect of it but super interesting for sure.

Classic is classic. Losing acidity. Previous bottle was better, but dang this is still drinking great. About 5 years left to drink this one if you have some.

Tasted side by side with 1995 Dom Perignon. Ummmmm, it easily held it's own. That's for sure. Delicious bottle. Everything you want in an aged sparking wine.
