32% Zinfandel, 25% Petite Sirah, 13% Malbec, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon,10% Syrah, 9% Petit Verdot. Enterprising, well priced blend - perhaps too much going on (possibly better without the Malbec and Petit Verdot?). Bright, lively, rather too jammy.

A nice California style red blend. It has had a few years in the bottle, so what upon release might have been a little too much oak, has settled in nicely. The color is Petite Sirah dark purple. The nose is almost all fruit with defined blackberry enhanced with mulberry, cherry cola and red raspberry. Across the palate, first is blueberry, then red raspberry and other dark fruits in a combination no single variety could accomplish on it's own. Lifted, expressive fruit all the way to the finish. Some maraschino and graphite on the finish.

A nice balanced wine. Heavy overtones of leather, red ripe berries, and vanilla. Perhaps a hint of Cedar as well. All in all, a very nice daily wine.
