The wine is clear with medium plus garnet/tawny colour and legs.
On the nose it is clean medium flavour intensity of plum, oak, chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, and slight mint/eucalyptus.
On the palate it is dry with medium minus acidity, low tannin, 13.5% alcohol, medium body with medium flavour intensity with flavours of tobacco, oak, eucalyptus, spice(pepper), plum, leafiness, earth, leather, savoury, and meaty. Finishes medium. Good wine. Drink now and over the next 2-3 years not suitable for aging.

Slightly floral nose when first opened. Classic shiraz nose distinctly not present early on, though begins to show through after opened for an hour. A bit of browning and 'watery' around the edges. A bit disappointed; expected more. Maybe later this evening will improve?

"Farewell" Party for Sasi (Lam Soon): Crushed beetles, a bit of crayon, a bit of cat's pee. On the palate, there is just one focused beam of orange peels and orange fruit with an undertone of cockroach! The weird aromas subsequently blow away to reveal more menthol and currants. Still fresh and lively. This is shockingly un-shiraz and feels more like a bordeaux blend.

Aussie WIMPS Lunch at The Ledbury (The Ledbury, London): Still quite primary! Lovely fruit, great structure, ample tannins. Red stone fruit profile. Lovely wine but needs 4-5 years or so.
