Amazing wine at 35 from last year’s mystery cases. Fruit still present on the nose as well as the palate. Some secondary aromas (cedar, plums, graphite) are present. These also carry through to the palate. The tannins are fully resolved and very smooth. Finish is fairly short 15 or so seconds. Probably won’t improve but really good at the moment.
Wow, still absolutely brilliant with little oxidation noticeable. Tasted with 84 Spottswoode, 81 Heitz Martha, 89 Beringer reserve, 90 Chateau Talbot and 2000 Bertani Amarone. My opinion is Anderson took first place. Flavors still intact and although all were showing age, quite impressive to compare these wines.

This was my second bottle. The first I loved and scored a 94. This one could have been delicious but I detected oxidation that was very distracting. Not sure if it was a storage problem or something else.

This wine is delicious. Notes of cherry, blueberry, and blackberry. Still tasted some tannins; should be in its prime for the next few years. Valerie says "tastes like cherries."

Third and last bottle--absolutely delicious and complex. Paired well with steak and mushrooms, of course.
