WEnt along with the "group" on this score. Wine was perfectly balanced with mild acidity and mellow tannins. Aromas of blackberries with earth tone and cassis. Flavors were deep in blackberries with the cassis and oak. The mild earth tones also worked there way on to your palate. The finish is bold and long lasting. I can see this wine being extraordinary in 3 - 5 more years. I suggest waiting another one or two years before consuming...my mistake!

Beautiful floral aromas along with dark fruit. Deep, dark red in the glass to the edges. Dark fruit flavors of blackberry, blueberry, cola, and cassis. Tannins are beautifully integrated, providing depth and structure. Acidity is perfect and amazingly refreshing. The finish is long and impressionable. Beautifully done.

Agree with MARK1NPT. This was best as a PnP the first hour or two out of the bottle. Concentrated, ripe, pure fruit at that point. But then all down hill from there. Too much alcohol and acidity later. 95 the in first few hours. A 90 later (including day 2 and 3)
Battle Cab with JKW; 11/6/2020-11/7/2020 (Woodyville): Blind: My WOTN and correctly guessed, but it screwed up a bunch of my other guesses retrospectively! This bottle (and maybe not your bottle!) had very deep To-Kalon black fruit, plum, blueberry, stone and floral notes. Super smooth, balanced and even sexy. Now-2025.

Woodward/Lyon Cabernet Clash; 11/6/2020-11/7/2020: Another California winner on this night, smooth tannin with wonderful fruit. Delicious.
