I wasn't sure what to expect from a pinot 3 years past it's window, but this is a pleasant surprise. It took about 20 min to open in the glass but it rewarded with a smooth, well integrated and balanced wine. Dry with subdued but satisfying red fruit on the palete. This first bottle from the case I bought that just arrived isn't past its prime at all, but is drinking beautifully now. I also bought half a case of the 2013, and prefer the 2012.

Cherry, raspberry flavors plus floral notes. Possibly just a touch tart on its own but a good pairing with the burrata ravioli. I wanted a Carneros Pinot because I think they pair better with burrata.
Drinking much better than a couple of years ago (I had a Coravin taste back then).
Drink now or possibly hold.

This needed an hour to show its stuff. Agree the structure is still noticeable but after some time drank very well. From Carneros it was slightly different from your RRV or Sonoma coast Pinot and while fruit forward had more Burgundian notes. Medium-large body for Pinot

Very nice Pinot with cherry and red raspberry. Rose petals on the nose and almost a savory quality. This wine clearly has time to lay down and continue to evolve. Decanting this is recommended as it took some time to emerge from its shell. Gorgeous structure with dark fruit and good backbone. Wish I had more to see it further evolve.

Far superior to 2013 mostly cause of the acid and structure. Still fruit forward with dark fruit. But structure wins out
