Well, I'm drinking mine out of a riedel riesling glass. Definitely has an aged appearance with its advanced deep golden color. Smells like rubber and petrol, with dried apricots, tar, sage, herbs, and chalk. Medium body and acid, medium (-) finish, with flavors of apple cider, lemon, lemon-lime soda, an herbal component (rosemary?), and minerals. This is pretty nice. Worked well with a deconstructed shrimp summer roll bowl, but I'm enjoying more sipping contemplatively post dinner. At any rate, I'll be drinking my other bottle sooner than later.

PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass ("Fruit" day): Deep lemon, very dense for a white wine. Nose is quite pronounced with notes of yellow fruits and some tropical fruits. Clear botrytis influence. Some very slight bitterness to the finish. I believe it will evolve significantly over the next few hours and decided to hold on.
7 hours upon opening into normal tasting glass and Burgundy glass: Very densely packed on the nose with super ripe yellow fruits and golden tropical fruits like pineapples, some hints of cream. Very saline with the signature 'smoky mineral' on the finish. Big-bodied and very serious Riesling indeed.
Reminds me of the Wittmann GGs 2008 but has a spicy element towards the back end of the palate. Very impressive though to me this ultimately lacked the elegance and extra flair that differentiates the 'very goods' and the 'greats' in the category. 91-92 points.

Dark gold color. Pear, apple cider, mineral. I struggle with dry riesling, sometimes, because I find too much mineral and not enough fruit. This was nicely balanced.

Pleasant enough and does the trick, but lacking in complexity and structure. Citrus notes and good acid, but more like a gewurtz then a riesling to me.

PNP into Zalto Burgundy glass (“Flower” day): Medium golden to the eyes.
Osmanthus honey, preserved citrus and stone fruits. White florals, very aromatic this is indeed.
Quite rich and luxurious on palate, steely, some preserved lemons with peels, some fine spices. Clean and persistent finish with more stone fruits.
93-94 points. Very different from the first tasting which was very tight - opening up well.
