Some dryness on front. It is followed by some leather and earthiness with just a hint of light blackberry jam notes. Not overly complex. 14.5% is somewhat noticeable. Easy drinking for the $15.99 purchase price in 2010/2011

Decanted 1 hour. Tobacco and spice on the nose. Wine starts the same. Has good tannins and structure/ balance. Very slight dryness on the finish. I agree with others, that it became a bit loose after a half hour or so in the glass. Perhaps showing its age. I don’t recall that from my other bottle about 8 years ago.

Better than my last bottle. Fruit is fading and probably a fraction over mature, but still attractive and even quite graceful.

My last of these. Showing great at this stage, so much bright and lively acidity. Crowd-pleaser.
