Call me a contrarian but this was a shockingly good surprise. Amazing floral nose, sweet and smooth and somehow - somehow - very nicely acidic. Pop and pour. The cork crumbled immediately and I had to decant and strain through it but that was the worst of this bottle. A complete and astonishing revelation.

Consistent with earlier tasting notes. Consumed two bottles at dinner with friends. Paired well with a variety of starters and main courses from lollipop lamb chops to grilled salmon. Perhaps some notes of mushrooms or forest floor when first tasted, then cherry, red berries and spice. Very pleasant and enjoyed by all.

Garnet-colored with a nose of cherry, red berries and spice. Tart berries and cherries on the tongue and a medium finish. A very pleasant Pinot Noir and a good time to drink up over next 1-2 years.

Wow, was not expecting much after the first two bottles. This caught us off guard, as it reminded us of past (more impressive) Flowers bottlings. Wonderfully silky with fresh summer berries and an ample backbone to stand up to our roasted chicken and vegetables. (B)

Still really impressive. Lots of funk and earth and some shroom has overtaken the fruit, but still incredibly good.
