When someone hands you a cheap & reliable Ozzie Chard at a BBQ, you don’t say no, right?
It’s gentle, lightly fruity, sips well, makes a very nice lunch accompaniment; top heavy in tropical notes with perhaps a little too much guava/pineapple. No oak.
It drinks sweet - a little too syrupy & without the crisp, lean, sharpness you crave in a Chardonnay.
