We probably held too long on this one but it still has that Turley character, jut a bit faded and perhaps muddied, if that makes sense. Jammy fruit, herbs, spice.

Drinking beautifully now. Rich red fruits and a tinge of black pepper, vanilla, and traditional Turley spices on the backside. Purple reddish color with an aftertaste that lasts for a good minute. Went well with grilled chicken sausage, filled with sun dried tomatoes and garlic. My only complaint is that Larry only put 750 ml of this goddess in the 750 ml bottle. Ha ha. To those who monitor my ratings, I tend to rate my Turley's high but I've been drinking probably on the average of 1 1/2 bottles a week for the last 12 or so years and with limited exceptions have yet to find a better Zin.

Moderately red, not terribly deep, just beyond Oregon Pinot but not showing any age or browning. Drinking really nice right now, nose of spicy zinberry and freshly scraped cooperage. Flavors include raspberry, pepper, oak and ripe fruit. Moderate tannin pop. Need to drink soon, I think the fruit is starting to fade and the tannins are still pretty noticeable.

Nose of red fruits and earth. The palate has red and black fruit which is framed by nice acidity. Finish is long with some vanilla, chocolate and cream coming through. Nice balance to the wine specially with 15.5% alc. Drinking well now and should last for few more years.

Very soft at this point. Still holding structure but don't wait.
