Discovered at Cucina Enoteca. For $14 retail, this is the best Prosecco you can get. Pear, green apple, stone fruit, minerality, and a hint of sweetness. People were surprised that it was so inexpensive!

Clear, pale yellow with large and copious perlage, which dissipates fairly quickly. The nose is medium (-) in intensity, with aromas of pear, green apple, brioche and a little bit of petrol. The palate is clean with a hint of residual sugar providing a smooth and velvety mouthfeel. The alcohol is subdued at 11.5%. The acidity is medium to medium (+) and counter-balances the fruit. The flavor intensity is medium with lemon and bitter lemon on the medium finish. This is a very approachable and very versatile sparkling white. Good by itself or with food, and a great value.

Clear, pale straw yellow with large, copious and persistent perlage. The nose is clean, and delicate, with aromas of white flowers and stone fruit. The palate is clean with just a hint of sweetness. The alcohol is subdued at 11.5%. The acidity is medium and counter-balances the fruit. The mouthfeel is soft and velvety. The finish is medium to medium (+) with a touch of minerality. This is a well made, nicely balanced sparkler from the Grave appellation. Good by itself or with food, and a great value. It is very drinkeable. In my initial enthusiasm I rated it a 90, but I think 88 is more realistic.

Soft and expressive, open, fruity though dryish for prosecco, textured.
