  • Took this bottle to Acker's La Paulee dinner at Capital Seafood in LA. This was a crowd pleaser! Color was a little darker than some of my previous bottles. Initial notes of just struck match reduction. This blew off quickly, and light lemony mousse notes emerged, followed by some pineapple guava, and tangerine. Smooth on the palate, and mid weighted.
    Delicious!

  • Very good but way too young.

  • One of my favorite Premier Crus from PYCM! The 2013 is in a perfect place right now! I can't imagine this improving, but who knows. The almost tell-tale sign of matchstick sulfer has mostly finally blown off. And the underlying aromatics are superb! This is definitley one of the best St Aubins out there. Color, nose, mouthfeel, density, and complex flavor profiles are all wonderful and in balance at present. Notes of creamy lemon mousse, and green apple are highlights.
This went wonderfully and enhanced the starting crudo's, and also the black cod in lemon butter sauce course at Robuchon's L'Atelier in Vegas.

  • From 75cl, wax capsule intact, but some brown sticky seepage underneath from the cork, which was more robust than the one in my previous bottle (CT TN 17.10.2022). Once again, a fabulous bottle, way better than the appellation or the vintage (or indeed the very modest 32 EUR I paid back in the day). As previously noted. Mature, but no hurry. 94P

  • Bought on release and finally I understand the fuss about py s wines. Chardonnay through a Riesling lens . Fantastically rich and layered, yet so fresh and linear. A stellar Chardonnay for the price paid on release. Can easily last a couple of years but don’t see any upside
