(Disgorged in fall of 2009) Wonderful nose showing incipient maturity with hazelnuts, brioche and minerals at first and the opening up with apricot flowers and stone fruit. Palate starting off with a lovely and creamy mousse and a smothered acidity and fruit that starts drying up. Luckily there’s still enough dosage to keep it evolving a little further, but I’m starting to feel that many producers 2004’s are mostly for early drinking. Of course there are variations, but in general their maturity is evolving rather quickly... even if their drinking very nicely right now... Best 2014-2024.

(tasted in the shop) Bright gold color, nice string of bubbles, shy nose, citrus notes. Citrus again in the mouth, powerful acidity, fruity background (peach), medium aftertaste. A great value-for-money vintage champange to be enjoyed with food

Light yellow colour. Nice and fresh nose with incipient maturity showing caramel, minerals and apples. Fruity palate and a nice long finish.

(home tasting) Dry and crispy, less complexity in the nose than I remember from the last time, it may have been too cold, citrus, medium aftertaste.
