  Don't remember what was on the nose, but definitely some cranberries and other red fruit on the palate. Light to medium bodied with moderate tannin and crisp acidity. Decent finish with no unpleasant aftertaste from the tannin. A decent bottle of wine with light italian food.

  Deep garnet in color. Nose dominated by dirt/soil/roots. Flavors of red fruit and big time radish, and with good acidity. Not a ton of complexity but I do like the old world sensibility.

  I was about to consider this as a flawed wine but then I read JacarandaPDX tasting note below which is similar to what I noticed. Either this is indeed a bad ripasso or then there is a batch of corked wines on the market
